Textbooks and Copybooks
Only textbooks and copybooks with the school logo printed on them are allowed to be used in the school. All necessary books are available for purchase at the school bookstore.
Attendance
Arrival
Students are expected to arrive at Edugates International School before 7:45 a.m . All students should be tidy and prepared for their classes; they should have all the necessary books and equipment with them.
Late Arrival
Tardiness is not accepted at Edugates International School. Therefore, late arrivals must report to the HOD before continuing to their classes. Students who are more than 10 minutes late will not be allowed to take the class in progress.
Repeated tardiness will lead to disciplinary action.
Early Dismissal
In the event of a student having to leave the school grounds before the day is officially over, there should be required to supply a signed note form from the parents. This note should include the following information:
Students name and class
Why the student has to leave early
Time the student must leave
Approximate time of return
Who is picking the student up
Parents are also advised that for the safety reasons student shall not be allowed to leave the school unless they are signed out at the reception by a parent/guardian or other authorized person.
Absence
Parents are requested to inform the school about their child’s absence from the school at the earliest possible convenience. This should be done by fax 00966-2-6060493 or by hand delivered letter. Please advise us of

Estimated length of absence
Name of hospital, (if applicable)
Progress Report
Progress reports are sent to parents after each quarterly exam. Parents should sign them where indicated and return them to the school the next day.For those students who have failing grades, progress reports will not be issued. Parents will be notified to visit the school and meet the HOD and the School Principal.Thursdays Remedial Classes For those students having difficulties in core subject(s) remedial classes will be arranged on Thursdays as scheduled.
